The rarest International Scout is often considered to be the 1979 International Scout SSII (Super Scout II) Baja Cruiser. Only a small number of these models were produced, featuring unique Baja graphics and special off-road equipment. Another rare variant is the 1980 Scout II Turbo Diesel, which was produced in limited numbers and marked the end of the Scout line.
