The original Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were not rebuilt after the 9/11 attacks. Instead, the site was redeveloped with a new complex that includes several buildings, the most prominent being One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower, which was completed in 2013. The site also features a memorial and museum dedicated to the events of 9/11.
